I have been rocking combat boots and dresses for quite a few years now, but now I am seeing more people trying it out, which I love! However, I'm also finding that a lot of people love the look but aren't quite sure how to pull it off. Here are two ways to wear this look. It works with shorts, pants, jeans and leggings as well, but since it's Spring I wanted to demonstrate using skirts and dresses. To be completely honest, these are my go to looks on a lazy day, yet I get so many compliments.
One of my fave things about combat boots is that you can wear them up or folded over and it will look like two different outfits. Either way would look pretty awesome with both of these. For the first look, I just have a light yellow/gold tee tucked into the knee length skirt. Feel free to add a belt to accentuate a small waist line. I also added some black jewelry. Since there is a lot going on with the pattern of this amazing Dolce&Gabbana knee length skirt, you don't need to add much with jewelry. Sometimes less is more. For the second look, since the boots are folded down and have a pattern shown, do a plain dress. I personally love the navy and brown combo, and adding a jacket could take this from day to night instantly. An off-white or brown jacket would look great.
I hope everyone enjoyed their Easter Sunday today... As well as this post! Lol Have a great week!
